Balenciaga to stage first menswear runway show

Balenciaga will be staging its first runway show for menswear this summer.

Under the direction of their new artistic director Demna Gvasalia, Balenciaga will send a parade of men to the runway sporting their spring 2017 collection on June 22 during Paris Fashion Week, a first for the 99-year-old brand. Gvasalia joined the brand last fall, replacing Alexander Wang.
The 34-year-old is also the founder of Vetements, known for its gender fluid lines and androgynous aesthetic.
